Proverbs 31 Study
She is noble, brave, courageous, and strong, because her identity is found in her King who is the author and picture of nobility, bravery, courage, and strength. The Proverbs 31 woman has been misunderstood and judged as a woman we are to compare our lives to (and never measure up). Uncovering who she really is reveals a woman fears God. Her actions overflow in loving obedience and service to her King. She is a sinner saved by grace, and she knows who she is and Whose she is.
She is not a list of do's to be done or a mold we need to fit into. She is a gospel picture of a life made brand new by the washing of the blood of Jesus Christ. Because He is her Savior, she is a woman who lives with eternity in mind and purpose in her steps.
This is a glimpse into the study of the Proverbs 31 woman, Women of Dignity, Washed in Grace. The study can be done in a group setting or a personal setting. It can be done over the course of 5-6 weeks. The first week is the introduction to the chapter. The following weeks go through the chapter verse by verse and studies different women of the Bible in light of the gospel of grace seen in the life of the Proverbs 31 woman. A leader's guide will be available for puchase on April 6th.
